Yes it will work BUT, in doing so it will make your engine use a lot more fuel, it can lead to overheating problems and I have heard that it will eat parts of your exhaust system fairly quickly.

IMO it's not really worth it.

If you want to go faster, CAI, Hi flow panel filter, extractors, better exhaust and a V8 throttle body. Sure it costs more, but then again, it's a lot less likely to cause you problems.

these things are a waste of time all they do is make the ecu think your engine is cold therefore giving the engine more fuel. This may be alright if used every now and then but under normal condition the engine will use more fuel you may get engine temp issues as mentioned above.Another major problem that occurs is damage to or failure of your catalytic convertor this happens because the increased amount of fuel means, under normal conditions, the amount of unburnt fuel passing into the exhaust is increased and believe me your cat dont like raw fuel.It basically causes them to melt and block up.
So before fitting something like this you have to think is a 10hp increase worth a $300 cat. convertor.Maybe you could knock the center out the cat but then again is 10hp really worth all that hassle

If you knock out the centre of the cat, ask yourself, is it worth the $10,000 fine that you risk getting?

ok so you knock out the cat convertor, the emissions are all up the spout, the 02 sensor cant read correctly, the PCM cant adjust the fuelling correctly, & you expect to gain 10 hp????
    not in this lifetime.

Just add a few stickers to the car, I think a K&N sticker and probably a Greddy sticker should add 10hp. Pop some blue lights on the bonnet and you're sure to get the extra 10hp. LOL

At least you won't drop horsepower doing that to your car.

What about a big HOLDEN sticker across the top of the windscreen? Surely that will add a few HP! There is an idea, might have to sell BIG Holden stickers on ebay with all the other useless crap that people are selling and making money on! LOL.
