Hey guys, hope u can help me on this one!

Ive got a Aug 1991 VN V6 S pack manual...

Lately when i turn on my aircon, the idle speed drops or isnt high enough and the car stalls (when stationary), when driving it just feels really sluggish, anyone know what the problem is???

Ive just coped by not using aircon for a while, but its getting to me now!

Any help much appreciated,

Thanks,
Chris

yeah been to those sites... all that tells me is what the codes mean and the other site is common problems with vns. I have no idea what codes (if any) are coming up???

I'll second the IACV, that's what controls the amount of air allowed into the engine at idle, if this is caked full of carbon deposits (as most of them are) then it can't move and let a bit more air in to keep the engine running with the aircon on. Might as well do the t/b while you have it out.
