Need info out of manual-ANYONE!

New to the site, Geelong Victoria.. anyone have access to a gregory's manual for a vn 88 exec? want to change wheel bearings, ball joins etc for roadworthy- if anyone has a scanner (and manual) please let me know either via the forum page or EMAIL ASAP. AM DESPERATE

Wheel bearings are easy as..I will quickly explain now....

Remove wheel

Remove caliper
Remove caliper bracket..

remove front dust cap
take off split pin (new bearings should come with new split pins
remove nut, take note of the way the washer goes
rotor should slide off now...
take out old bearings and put new ones in, making sure you grease them up properly..

fit everything back, and don't overtight the nut with the split pin, otherwise you will cook your bearings...

Ball joints...don't have the manual with me at the moment, as I am at work...Haven't changed mine yet, but just take note of the way you remove them..Should be fairly easy...You might need a ball joint removal tool though...

what he said. Ball joint you just unbolt the bolt at the bottom there. get a set of popers, put it in and pop it out. simple as.. lol. they can be a REAL pain but. have fun with the hammer if you dont have a ball joint puller
