VS CAI on VN

i know this is been done a millon times before but i couldnt find any post on it, can i get some detailed info and pics on how to fit super charged vs cai on my vn

Only thing with the VN you may need to pour some hot water on the CAI mouth and slam the bonnet (and let it sit) to make it fit properly.... it's a little high stock but can be mushed into shape.

yeh sorry it was the mouth bit i was talking about just wanted to know what mods it needs to fit vn

Ahh gotcha.. just heat it up with something (hot water, hairdryer, heat gun, etc)... and close the bonnet and push it down into the normal spot.

It'll hold the CAI in place and it'll cool moulded into the right shape to let your bonnet close normally.

It'll fit regrdless, but the bonnet will sit a bit funny...


Other thing worth trying (depending on where it makes contact) is cutting back the top lip a bit... it'll give the bonnet more room there plus opens up the CAI some more... goodness.
