The story so far...
Had a VPSII Commodore.
Got loan to buy manual conversion kit.
Bought Manaual Conversion Kit.
Wrote of VP before i put it in.
Delivery of kit was rejected and it spend a month in Altona Storage
Got it yesterday (19/4/06)
Bought a VNSII Yesterday.....
OK, 2 Options.
1. Sell Manual Conversion kit on ebay and try to get my 2K back.
2. Save up the $400 and put the puppy into my new VN.
Samuels said that the kit wouldn't need changing as its for the SII's so it;ll fit a VN no worries.
any idea's?

Hell...if it'll fit...shove it in. Clearly you wanted a manual otherwise you wouldn't have purchased the kit. So why not drop it in the VN. Let's face it, the VNS2 and the VP are almost the same car (I did say ALMOST) so it'll be just as much fun to drive the VN as a manual as it would have been to drive the VP.
I say go for it. But then again, I'm not a fan of automatics.

Sell MAnual, Keep Manual?

keep it dude... you likely won't get your money back on it so you'll be out of pocket anyway.. you obviously wanted a manual so just throw it in and enjoy!

Said and done $400 to fit the whole thing is pretty good. It might seem like a lot of money, but compare it to the $2000 that you've already spent. It would be a waste of a gearbox to NOT put it in.
