central locking

hey i was just wondering if it is possible to install central locking into a vn yourself? and how hard is it to do? the actaul central locking system is the cheap part, i got quoted $75 per door to get it installed.

Just did it recently mate, alot easier than i thought, but time consuming.. The part that took the most time i found though was ripping the bloody door trims off! All the doors already have the holes drilled ready for the actuators so it was way easy! Wiring is shit easy to, plug the loom into the central locking module, then give the module an earth, and power and bingo, central locking! If ya got ay more questions mate give us a yell, may be able to get some pics if ya want.

ok cheers for that. yer i will probly have some questions when i give it a crack tomorrow. yer and any pictures would also be extremely helpful as pictures are alot easier to understand then descriptions in my opinion. does you or anyone know if there are good or bad central locking systems? like brands or wateva?
