Self Diagnosis help needed...

Hey all, Before ya'll comment I did a search on this but I couldn't find what I needed & I also have the owners manual and I'm sure its there right infront of my blind eyes but i still cant see it....!!!

Anyhow my question is in regards to the self dianosis that you can perform, I have the codes, I know how to count the flashes and I know which plug it is that you need to use but which 2 wires in that plug are you meant to bridge to get the codes up in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you hold the plug so that the clip is on the bottom it is the 2 on the right side
