Hub clearance on VP?

I am going to be purchasing a set of rims for my VP within the next week or 2 and i have decided i would like a set of VX SS wheels. Now i know the stud pattern is the same, so they will physically fit, what I was just wondering would they sit flush on the hub or does the center part of the hub (the part containing the bearings, stick out too much? The last thing I want is to have the postman deliver my shiny new wheels and tyres and not be able to fit them.

They'll fit fine. Although you might need to have your guards rolled because of the width. Stock VX SS commodores came with P235/45 R17's. So if you do have 235's on the rims, they will rub against the guards.
