VP CALAIS Brake light problem

Gday everybody, I have a problem with my VP CALAIS?

Evertime i turn my headlights on and put my foot on the brake the right hand brake light goes out? but if i dont have the headlights on the brake lights work fine?

I have replaced the right hand light loom with a brand new 1 from holden and made no difference? in fact it made it worse cause before only the top light went out not the whole light?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe its the connector?? as i just fixed this in my car this arvo, but it was the left handside, my connector isnt that flash alittle rust in there, but managed to fix it

as i said ppl the loom is brand new and all bulbs are workig fine it's only when i have the headlights on it doesn't work?

i had the same problem with my vn i got it fixed today mine was just a rusty connector on the earth inside the bulb holder hope that helps

Boy do i feel like a d.i.c.k.h.e.a.d! it was an earth it wasn't even connected? and it wasn't on the original loom either! so if anyone has the same prob the single brown wire with the white trace (IS THE EARTH!!!)
