The base should be the same but the back of the sedan seat will be higher I don't think it'll work unless you get really creative and do some seat alterations. good luck

Not only is the back a whole lot higher, it's a completely different shape and doesn't have any 'support' in the back so it would be as floppy as a wet sponge. You'd need to make up some fairly serious brackets to even stand a chance.

Personally I wouldn't bother, too much stuffing around.

correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think they made an sv3800 or 5000 wagon and my wagon has the sv interior but yea the backseat just doesn't line up properly but in the middle of the seat its not saggy or anything at all

Ive been thinking about doing this for a while, I have placed a sedan rear seat in & like they said, It will take a bit of work to get it to fit.

The other option is to go for the VR or VS(cant remember which) Clubsport wagon rear bench, these are a great seat if you can find one.

i just wanted the fold down bit in the middle is it possible 2 mount that into the wagons backrest.

pretty old thread thread but i just picked up a set of vp calais seats today and am planning on putting it all into my wagon....have seen the rear top part assembly in vr hsv wagon....just never seen how it was all attached and everything

Its a different seat. For starters the VR Clubby one would have a 60/40 split (not 40/20/40 like the VP Calais seat).

To answer a question posted by the other guy up there, they DID make SV3800 wagons, which had a seat with rear headrests. Also used in VS Berlina/acclaim wagons.

Personally i'd be looking for a set of those seats, and then having them recovered. Its alot easier to recover a seat with leather than it is to rebolster/mount a sedan seat into a wagon.
