Door Seal Sealant

Just wondering what sealant should be used for attaching new door seals. At 80 bucks each, i dont wanna screw it up with shitty sealant!!

When I was reattaching my door seals I used Sellys Contact Adhesive. Had to be careful to not get any dags showing but it seemed to do okay.

Not sure if there is something better, but it worked for me.

Do you mean the door seals that go around the door on the body, not the door itself?

Don't these come already attached to the plastic strips that you sort of push onto the lip that runs around the door opening?

Yeah the ones that go along the gray strip on the car body, not the door. As far as i was aware, they didn't come together... But if they do, that makes things a shitload easier Will have to check up on that. Thanks guys for the info

I think they do come together, I was at Holden a couple of months ago asking the same thing. For the $70 or $80 or whatever, I think you get the rubber seal plus the plastic strip.
