Thinking of selling my v8 calais, whats it worth?
It is a 89 model with 245000 on the clock, strong motor, very straight and clean, immacualate interior, i have just registered it, new power window switchs, newtailshaft, new windscreen, reconditioned the central locking, new stereo with new speakers front/back and a kicker sub/amp in boot, and i just had a new aircon retrofit, with fresh gas....
It has fe2 suspension, has the original calais wheels and has tinted windows....
It is a great car, but i no longer have room for 2 cars....
What do you think i would sell it for?

yeah, thats what i would say around $5000, dunno how long it will take to sell but, as v8's are getting harder and harder to sell these days

In sydney i'd be surprised if you got that much...
I just picked up a spotless '97 VS S/C Calais for 9k out of sydney... considering yours is 8 years older.... well it cant hurt to list it at 5k but don't be surprised if it takes a while to move.

Matt, that might be true, but you cant compare a 6 versus a 8, different appeal.... different buyers....

North queensland m8, $1500 in sad condition, $4000-$6000 in very tidy. Some are advertised for more, but they dont sell. Shame really because they are a really good car.

if its on gas ( which it doesn't look like it is ) you might get a few more people interested.
