which "extra" pulley mate? the bottom idler or the top one?
as far as the 'instructions' are concerned, i found it easier to put it on myself in my own way. the instructions only there as a bit of a guide.
took me about 8 hours all up and thats changing injectors on the ecotec as well.

Its the one in the one circled.

I tried putting it on, but it just doesnt align with the belt at all. Its ay to back its as if it needs some thicker washers or something.

Can i just not worry about it ?

You'll probably find the belt is too long if it's not there...

when you say it doesnt align with the belt, does the blower pulley line up by eye too? because if that is sitting on the wrong side of the brackets then it will be misaligned also, giving the impression that your 'extra' pulley is out

the blower it self aligns perfectly with the rest of them, but the extra pulley sits more back closer to the engine, maybe i need a big washer or something there to push it out.

Also, i pulled the supercharger of the engine for now, i just wanted to see how it would sit and if it would fit properly, im having trouble getting the alternator back on, the bracket for the coil pack is hard to get back in place, anyone has this simmilar problem ?
