    Default fuel gauge problem

    hey i was wondering what is wrong with my fuel gauge. some times it doesnt work. sometimes it can go 2 weeks without working and then it will just suddenly start working again. i have found that it tends to work much more when i have a full tank of fuel

    Try tapping the dash. They get stuck.
    Noise elimination I call it. Find noise, eliminate it. That's all I ever seem to be doing.

    gotta love sticky commo fuel guages. just dont hit to hard or you will brake the clips under the dashlike i did

    check out the sticky on "sticking temp and fuel gauges". most likely your problem is a bad solder joint on the circuit board in your instrument cluster. read, fix, smile!
