fuel pick up

been having some problems with fuel pickup in my wagon. won't start on hills sometimes and has cut out going around roundabouts. could it be something wrong with the fuel tank. it has a new pump.

when the new fuel pump was put in did u put new fuel filters in

yep and new strainer at the end of fuel pump

When you put the new pump in did you make sure you lined it up properly, the flat side of the sender unit to the top, and did it go into the swirl pot. Does this only happen under a quarter of a tank, have you taken a fuel pressure reading?

yeah it does happen when under 1/4 a tank. haven't done fuel pressure test yet will try and get a gauge 2morrow and do one. the new pump should be getting enough pressure though shouldn't it.
