VP vs Celica 1999 SX-R

hey all
I am new and just wanted to know whether my VP (3.8L V6) has much of a chance of beating my friends Celica 1999 SX-R (2L I4). They are both stock although i am starting to do mine up now.

My friend's Celica feels as if it as about as much power as mine when i go driving with him but since he has a suspended license he doesn't want to test this problem.

we have this argument alot so please someone shut one of us up.

Just find a quiet road and sort him out! Its the only way to end the argument. My money would be on the commy. You've got more power and torque and there would be bugger all weight difference.

yeah, i know for a fact you'd win

those gen 6's were quite heavier than the earlier models
he'd have a few advantages over u tho, slotted rotors, strut brace ect
but a fair bit less power

im tipping the commy =D
but in truth there is no way to know, for instance you could have a blocked cat converter restritcing air flow hence making the car run at less power than it should (seen it happen before)

my mate dumped a XR6 in his EB, dyno'd at 85rwkw... we all had a good laugh...
