Hi there everyone.
just wanted to ask a quick few questions. i have my car at the mechanics at the moment getting, Full whiteline superlow works kit with all the koni upgrades, full new exhaust, all new tyres, reconditioned diff, reconditioned gearbox, and a 355 stroker done.
1.firstly what sort of power will a vn ss V8 gearbox be able to handle.
2.what sort of heavyduty clutch should i look at.
3.should i change my diff ratio
4.how much lower than fe2 is a superlow kit
5.am going 3" exhaust will this do.
thanks

you dont actually say whether its an auto or a manual...but im guessing manual...
it shouldnt have any trouble handling the power and torque of the stroker, although as you asked, a better clutch could be on the cards....really depends what your using you car for and how far you wanna go for recommending a suitable clutch.
a new diff ratio would be an idea if you want good standing start acceleration..something like a 3.45 or 4.1 would be suitable.
superlows are a fair bit lower than FE2, i couldnt say exactly how much.
3" exhaust would be good, you'd want some extractors and probably a hi-flow cat as well...for the stroker you'd want the best possible exhaust.
man thats gonna cost u big, i hope uve been saving. wats there quote'a on it? how much?
yep u got it, it's a manual so yeh, definatly a heavey duty clutch
yeh i am definatly gonna go pacemaker extractors a a hi flow cat as well.
i just hope the superlows aren't gonna be too low cause i still wanna be legal.
all up it's costing me up arpund $12,000 maybe a bit more. cause i am gonna obviously up the fuel system as well, probably run dual pumps in the boot, etc
yeh have been saving for quite sum time.

you should be sweet, although with the weight of a v8 you might wanna consider heavy duty kings (which are still low) up front, super lows up back.Originally Posted by spice_man2069
Since you're getting a whiteline suspension kit just jump on their website and check out the measurements that they have for the kit that you're getting.
As for "how low are superlows" that really depends on the brand. It does differ from brand to brand.
