    Default Diff Rebuild

Ok, now i had a search but didnt find anything relevant.

My LSD is on the way out, big time. I have read all the threads on spools and what not, and i like the idea, but in the name of keeping my HSV driveline the way it came from the factory, i need my LSD redone to stop it open wheeling. Its getting more and more frequent, even when i try to not get the wheels spinning on occasions the thing just fries the inside wheel.

So, who in adelaide can recommend a good person to deal with thats not going to bankrupt me, i know its not gunna be cheap,. but it needs to be done. I dont need any different gears or anything, just the cones re done to make it tighter.

    Cheers Guys

And please, dont try get me onto a spool stealthy or anyone, i want one, but no

hmm if u are keeping it stock and getting it rebuild i would recomend getting stronger springs put in the lsd some thing like 200lb springs as it will make it stronger and more solid, almost like a mini spool but legal and can slip still..
but if you are mature and use it for every day driving then u may aswell not bother (with spring upgrade),

stock springs are rated at 50lb (not hundred perscent on this)

Well, you say mature, at what age does that happen?

Ill be keeping the drive line "stock" so to speak, providing someone doesnt decide to sell a 5 speed series one V6 VN, if so, ill get a 5 Speed in it with the Standard driveline, engine and trans in the shed safe. So i guess making the diff a big stronger wouldnt hurt. Wouldnt mind some forced induction on the SV at some point
