VP Parcel shelf

So im thinking of rebuilding my parcel shelf in my car.
One of the corners has popped up and is rubbing against the glass. I’ am someone that has spent a lot of money on my system and its pissing me off because it sounds like the speakers are rooted.
I have herd that you get better sound quality from "mdf" wood instead of the current wood that is being used.
I was just curious if any one has re-built there’s and if so can you give me some advise. Such as how to removes the parcel shelf, what size wood to use ECT.
Any tips or advice or photos would be muchly appreciated.

yeah that parcel shelf is exactly what i want to do. how did you remove it ?

you remove the back seat, and slide the shelf towards the front of the car. Removal of the back seat is on here - do a search
