I just brought a 1991 VQ V8 statesman, and I cant work out if its a series 1 or 2. it does not have any badges on it saying one or the other, but I was told they were ugly and were probably removed a long time ago. Does anyone know how to tell? In the owners manual it says it should be a series two and that the V8s didnt go past 1991 in the VQ does this sound right?
Holden should be able to tell you the release dates of series I and II, its pretty close to a series II, if anything, it'd be a late Series I
