Aero Kit

Does anyone know rough pricing for the aero kit for the vn commodore. I have rung around and got some prices but i am not sure how much i should be lookin at payin.

I found a completely new one, partially damaged one at a wreckers and one straight off a runnin car. Any help would be much appreciated.

from memory, around 2800-3000 from hdt unpainted, unfitted, more from ssv.

aero kits are expensive it would be easier to find a vn with an aero kit on already least then u know how it looks and what kinda job they did when fitting it i heard holden made some v6 aeros duno how much they are to buy though definately cheaper than the proper v8's id reckon

the v6's were still "proper" aeros, as hdt did lots of different options of aeros, many were bog stock interior with a couple of extras and the kit, others had full leather, etc.

but yeh, could be cheaper to find a aero predone, but there are alot of dodgy done ones out there.

Me and hakhawk were looking at a complete unregistered Aero V6 on ebay for 2500, and no one bid on it a few months back, cheaper than a kit and you got a car with it

when the AERO came out the kit cost $6,000 painted and fitted by HDT

got any pics of the car to show us

I rang Adelaide Special Vehicles (official seller of HDT products)

To just supply they were asking $3950 and for supply fit and paint $6500

they can kiss my ass because i just found a aero kit on a vn and the guy wants $500 if i come and take it off. Sounds like a bargain to me. No bogging needed either.

If anyone finds any cheaper or around the same price pm me as i am very interested. Am also considering just a simple calais kit. They look alright but i'm not sure how good it would look with the stock maroon vn exec colour.

ASV are w@nkers, i went in a little while back for the same reason, to get an aero kit, told me 4k, ok then, i was then gunna enquire about some toher kits when he opened the door and prompted me to leave, they can go get stuffed.

But 500bucks for an aero kit, sounds like a good deal to me, id be pouncing on that

they were alright to me when i asked about the GROUP A kit
$2700 for the r/bar s/skirts and f/bar ,painted and fitted

at that prise they didnt need to kick me out

really 2700 for a group A painted and fitted. Might take a look at that option. don't mind the group A its jus you have to agree the aero is the nicest lookin.

Vx senator kits look real nice bout 3k for them

$2,690 to be exact is what i was quoted lol, for the GROUP A kit
oh and that included the front grille
but no bonet bulge and spoiler

and i rate the GROUP A better than the AERO

how mucvh should a VP GTS kit set me back?

The VP GTS kit is the same as a VN Group A basically...so pricing would be pretty similar. I was quoted $4g from Adelaide Special Vehicles for a genuine HDT kit.
