temp gauge curs in and out
my vn'stemperature gauge keeps cutting in and out ramdomly...
and then the red light on the dash starts flshing..
does anyone know what this could be?

Could be a dodgy temperature sensor. Or it could be a major problem with the cooling system.
Check for engine fault codes and see what is coming up.
Gravity is proof that nature keeps getting us down.
no its been lke it for ages... have a seperate temp gauge on now. but i want the old one back.
when i connected the new gauge up i had to pull out the red water temp globe because t would randomally come on... this came on when the temp gauge usto stop working...
so is there another temp sender somewere other than near the thermostat?
