hey dudes, i just put 17"s on my VN berlina,..235/45/17 they where..the ride of the car is so shithouse now, ive never had low profile tyres on any of my cars, how bad is the end result usually?..
is it lowered, things get worse when you lower it, the bigger the rims, the smaller the sidewall, the worse the ride gets.
I love cars slammed on rims with low profile tyres, makes the car bounce over everything, and seems like a race car, gotta love that
About that badI pulled the 17's off my VP as soon as I got it. With 15's it's a great car with 17's it's junk, big difference
its all because the sidewalls are so much stiffer on the 17's
i have 17's with low profiles, looks good but you can feel every bump in the road![]()

the shocks are stuffed which prob doesnt help, two of the rims r buckled (there on the back), ill have to get them fixed up aswell. Coz sometimes wen i hit a bump the steering wheel drives itself..
Yeah you might wana get that fixed haha
yea, anyone noe a place in sydney that will straighten em for a decent price?..
i whacked em on the back so it aint to bad, but i like everyfing to be perfect..
