****....crash story time

i had all these cables that used to run down from under my steering wheel and sued to dangle around accelerator/brake

anywhoo taped these all up and all was fine...until what must've been in the last couple of days one cable came loose and managed to be working it's way around my foot brake....waiting at lights yesterday another vp in front of me im moving foward at about 10km/h...go to put the break down and what happens next...the ****ing cable had got caught around the break and on the acclerator so it wouldn't go down..and bam hit the guy in front of me

he was a tad pissed off until i showed him the cablery wrapped around foot pedals then told me his car will probs cost me nothing as point of impact had been his towbar and a few paint marks on his rear bumper

sooo my front bumper is now mangled adn the support's behind it in front of the radiator are buckled...anyone have an idea of how much that will cost to get from a wreckers...ill be able to fit it.

I had quote from wreckers for around $120, got one off ebay for $65, then respray and fit.

I got a re-enforcement bar from Just Commodores for like $40...or maybe it was $60....I cant remember. But thats the metal bar that sits behind the plastic bumper if thats what buckled on your car.

sick!! when u say just commodores do you mean these forums? or that wrecking place on o'sullivans beach rd or somewhere down there?

you need the rio bar and a font bar. I recon you could get one for a hungy. Buy it pivatly will save you so much. Youo can generally get front bars on ebay for like $30

try all pannel and parts. they are normally really well priced

also look in the paper, there is always someone wrecking white vps in there

It was Just Commodore Spares on north east road...gilles plains.

Are they the orange cables from under the kickpanel??? If they are mine come down as well....better get that looked at if it is...
