    Default Fan Speed Resistor? VN

    Can somebody please tell me where and how to get to the fan speed resistor in a VN Commodore and could you also tell me what it looks like???

    in a vr is under the wiper arms, could be the same as vn's?

    Yeah VN-VS seem to always be pretty similar in their layout...
    How do you get to it if its under the wiper arms?

    i cant see coz works blocked ebay but, there are 2 different ones, the one wif a metal rectangle/square thingo is a newer one and more reliable, the boxed coil one isnt as good

    ok looked at fotos, the 2nd one is the better of the two

    Default resistor pack

    I just fitted one of these, cost $54 from Holden and still made in China.
    I was told the older "coils in a box" style are finished and the genuine part is now that one with the alloy heat sink.

    Ah ok. Thanks for the help guys. I might just get one from U-Pull It for $5 second hand. They aren't too common to fail are they? A second hand one would be alright?

    in vr commodores they are a very common prob :P get new that way u get a bit of a warranty
