    Question Extractors on a V6 - will I need a chip?

    ^^says it all
Pacemaker extractors hopefully getting installed this month - will I need to chip it at the same time?? Some people have told me I will, but I haven't had a definitive answer yet...

    Cheers

Most certainly wouldn't hurt... I'll get it chipped fairly soon I think, depending on pricing and availability, in the long run I'm hoping to see more gains from the 98RON I'm running already.

Cheers for the quick reply mate

I'd wait till youve done all the mods you wnat to do, then chip it. re-chipping after every mod adds up!

yea i know how a chip works, just wasn't sure how much slack for modification there was with a standard ecu.
