    Default High Pressure Hose

    does anyone no how much the high pressure power steering hose costs to replace.. its the pre-sealed weaved one that runs from the rack up to under the pump... its urgent!
    Don't blame me, It's that damn percadan..

    The genuine and aftermarket p/s hose look the same as I just replaced mine 2 days ago (blown with a huge crack near the joins).
    Repco would cost about 55 while holden cost 58.
    It's easy to replace 1-2hr and don't forget to top the fluid up.

    yer my mate can get one genuine or not i think from kmart auto if he says its for him he should b able to get it wholsale price.. without a lift is it easy to do from top or should i pay to get it done

    The top is easy. The bottom work on the right side wheel arch which a 15-16 size spanner would gain access. It's a tight space working under the car but you don't need a lift also there is alot more working room on the bottom then the top. It took me 50mins to work it out.

    ok did u hav to remove the thing u fill or anything else? it just unbolts from the rack doesnt it? i shuld b able to get sum stands or sumthing and ill hav a look, sofar ive onli found it from the top thanks.

    just unbolt the hose from the block and rack. you really don't need stands.

    its way to hard to get in there has anybody at all got like a gregory's repair manual they can scan or something? if not can someone tell me what to do/undo to get me started..
