does anyone no how much the high pressure power steering hose costs to replace.. its the pre-sealed weaved one that runs from the rack up to under the pump... its urgent!
Don't blame me, It's that damn percadan..
If you ask me, that stuff rots your brain...
And now a word from our new sponsor.. Percadan? oh crap!
I know in Sydney there about 60 odd bucks from repco...
The genuine and aftermarket p/s hose look the same as I just replaced mine 2 days ago (blown with a huge crack near the joins).
Repco would cost about 55 while holden cost 58.
It's easy to replace 1-2hr and don't forget to top the fluid up.
yer my mate can get one genuine or not i think from kmart auto if he says its for him he should b able to get it wholsale price.. without a lift is it easy to do from top or should i pay to get it done

nar do it your self.
The top is easy. The bottom work on the right side wheel arch which a 15-16 size spanner would gain access. It's a tight space working under the car but you don't need a lift also there is alot more working room on the bottom then the top. It took me 50mins to work it out.
