vn series 1 belt tensioner

Ok guys im putting a vn series 1 motor into a zuk comp car have taken the air con of and am changing to a smaller belt but as the belt came of when i removed the the compressor how do i move the tensioner to put on the new belt

You don't need to remove the tensioner, you should just need to loosen it off. Get an 18mm ring spanner and haul on it in an anti-clockwise direction (on the big bolt in the middle of it). That will cause the tensioner to swing up and out of the way.

BTW: The VN V6 motor in a suzuki is a nice mod. I've seen it done in an old Suzuki Siera, and that thing is unstoppable.
