    Angry Bloody Squeak!

ok, as the title says, i have a HUGE squeak in my rear right hand tyre. if anyone has read my last few threads, i put my car over an angle gutter and backwards thru a fence about a month ago and i only change the tyre/wheel over tonight lol coz the ****ed one was wobbling so much it looked like it was gonna fall off (the wheel nuts were so loose i took them off by hand)

ok, now my wheel is straight and doesnt wobble but there is a continuous squeak comming from that wheel! when i go slow or break it disappears but when im just cruisin (45km/h+) the squeak comes back! ah its driving me insane, i think i might have bent something on the rear axle, really im clueless. When i had the car jacked up, everything seemed fine, i had a look at all the connections and pieces of the axle and theye were all fine- no obvious damage.

any advice u have to get the squeak to go away or something that i might have missed would be a life saver!

    cheers
    Josh

sorry, on the rear its called a axle bearing. I think you have to remove the axle shaft to get at it properly.

lol spewin, my engine is fine but yeah, i think when i hit that gutter either the axle or something to do with the axle got bent. when i break the noise goes away.... and its on the same tyre that hit the gutter so mmm its not lookin too good. less money for mt hotham!

Take your rear pads out and check if any gravel or crap has got in between them and the brake rotor. Also check to see if the backing plate is rubbing against the rotor it shouldnt be touching

haha u cant say u have never been stupid and had a stack, even if it was a little one. it wasnt just a gutter... it was a gutter, then backwards down a 45 degree embankment and backwards thru a barbed wire fence haha lucky the only thing i screwed was my axle i guess...
