Engine weight

Just wondering how much one of these engines weigh and how you go about attaching it to an engine stand.

Want to pick one up from the wreckers and just pull it apart play around with it to get some more hands on experience without worrying about not be able to put it back together or stuffing something up.

I would say 300kg plus. engines are heavy things!

And what about attaching it to an engine stand, is their a universal way, or do you have to just rig up something as you go?

yeah prob about 350 kg's dude, and yeah it universal dude, you just bolt into the tranny/engine holes, all engine stands will suit nearly every motor
however i dont like the bastards, too wobly
