u should of checked for errors, be disapointing in a few days to have the same enigne light flash due to a sensor playing up

Dude, if you dont have a manual, or can't decipher what type of light is flashing on your dash, than you definately should not even attempt to fix your prob, until you definately know what light it is.
Also, as stated above, if it is the engine light, make sure you check for error codes as the flashing light could be warning you of something.
In my experience, you don't just swap computers over just because the a light flashes on your dash.
    Thats my 2 cents.

Sorry all but it's a brake warning light.

Your brake fluid might be low , or you have a leak and the brake differential has tripped.Either way check it out immediately.

The Engine warning lamp is orange, is shaped like an engine , and has an exclamation. This is what the symbol krisi is getting.

    No worries.

You normally only briefly see that light as you start the car, it doesn't come on with ignition, but as the car starts, it checks the circuit for errors comes on then should immediately go out.

Also there could just be a bad connection . Maybe going over bumps triggers it.
