Hey, when i purchased my vn v6 the fan use to run all the time when the ignition was on cos he earthed one of the wires from the back of the cooling fan relay and recently the fan has stop turning all together but the fan still works cos i conected straight to a battery to c if it works, but when connected to the original circuit doesnt spin at so if any one can help me with this confuzing problem it would be very grateful, thanks
it only comes on when the car is hot, supposed to anyway![]()
yeah i know that but mind doesnt come on at all. so the car overheats
Blown fuse, blown fan motor (it can happen) or a dead relay, could be a dodgy themperature sender too.

fuses are good relays r good replaced coolant tempreture sensor and the fan is new so i am very confuzed
just hardwire it into the ingition if it works still. Then it wiill be on all the time.
If you hardwire it in you'll most likely notice a big jump in fuel consumption. Though hard wiring it in to test it is a good idea. Wire it across the battery just to see if the motor is still good. If it works then you know that the fault lies somewhere in the switching setup.
