Hi all
As part of the deal I made with my cheapo VN wagon I'm organising the RWC so I get the 9 months rego still on it and the previous owner is happy to hold off on signing transfer papers until I get the RWC.
Brakes, tyres, suspension, etc are all basically only 5 or 6 months old so they are all fine, as is windscreen.
I've fixed the obvious areas the car needed for the RWC (it had cracked taillight, leaky rocker cover gaskets and I replaced the wiper blades just in case) and steam cleaned the engine and there are no other huge oil leaks but was curious as to if the typical sagging rooflining is part of the check as I'm using the drawing pin method to hold it up the moment.
Will this need to be fixed before I send car in for RWC ?
Cheers
if its not sagging into your eyes i shouldnt see a problem with it, but if its hanging down obvisiouly you will fail as its a safety hazard
THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT
if its really noticeable while you are driving, I.E gettin in your field of vision, then yes it will have to be fixed, other then that they wont actually check to see if it is sagging
Get Sum 3m Glue and just spray sum in there press it up and That's all she wrote !!! RWC becos they do fail it if sagging in ur eyes All the best with that but if your from Melb Just go ta picka apart and Buy one cheap $17 Bux for roof linning 50 min work ..........
Cheers guys, I think I'll pull it out and reglue it for now to get me through RWC and the next few weeks, etc, I'll be able to seal the leaking areas in the car at the same time then as well..
Thanks all
