VN front wipers

My front wipers are stuffed, my mate some how managed to shut the bonnet on my wiper, the other one works but its about 15cm up the window
I brought another wiper today from the wreckors, an was wondering how do i yake of the wippers? ive tried undoing the bolt but doesnt come out? an if i can take the good wiper that sits up the window if i take it out an can i re postion it so it's back to normal?

Are you sure the wiper arm is busted and not the linkages underneath? cause that's a common thing on VN's

hey, they work like the mechanis does, just the wiper is alll smashed up an bent under the hood an stuck so i need to find out how to remove the wiper so i can replace it.

You lift the bonnet (dur) and have an old wire coat hanger handy. Lift the wiper off the windscreen and down at the hinge on the wiper blade you will see a little notch underneath, slide the coat hanger wire in there and it stops it putting the tension back on the spring. Undo the nut and lift it off.

Took me forever to work out how to do it. I spent about half an hour trying to work it out. So I'm just glad that I could help someone with it.

I rebuilt all mine and don't remeber having to do that I guess I did though because I remember they came off really easy
