Wade 992a issues

Just wondering if you guys have any clues as to whats causing the few issues im having

Had the cam in now for about 3000k and ever since putting it in ive noticed makes alot more ticking/tapping noise compared to the old cam. The other issue is that i got a dyno tuned chip with the cam that was setup for it exactly and it makes the car run like crap with it (running very rich, hard to start and plenty of black smoke)

If i put the stock VN chip in however the car will run fine, the only different mod i had from the previous user is i have an ajustible fuel regulator and run 3.5bar.

Any help would be great

Run the standard fuel pressure and the modified chip

Yeah thats on my list thanks mate, just wondering how the cam can run with the standard chip though, i take it the only think stopping it from running on a normal chip is more fuel? I was sorta worried the timing hasn't been done right.

A big cam normally needs more timing and even timing at idle and low revs because the vacuum isn't stable. But it'll still run. Change your fuel pressure to 3 bar and and put the modified chip in, it should be sweet then

yeah sounds good, i have ecotec injectors aswell but the previous owned had them aswell so thats not an issue. I think ill have the timing cover taken off after just incase to make sure the cam has been installed correctly aswell.
