Front wiper washer motor dramas

Hi All

I replaced my complete front wiper washer unit today as the old one had a leak and a bung motor but when I changed over the unit it pumped water for a few seconds and then stopped. The motor was really hot so I think there may be a short or something else wrong

Any ideas ?

My washer bottle motor dont work at all does this mean it's faarrkked i've checked fuses ect. but everything seems to be fine.

I'm assuming mine is a faulty switch on the dash as I swapped my 'broken' Commodore one over into one of my other cars and the pump worked so this or a dodgy earth wire are my theories at the moment...

Just thought I would bump this up again and see if anyone else has had this problem, I've changed the switch over, changed pumps, , blown air through the hoses etc and still nothing, fuse is ok because wipers are operating, only thing else I think is dodgy wire somewhere ?

Anyone ?
