Default Does a VS bonnet fit onto a VP?

Hey guys just a quick question. I'm re-spraying my VP ute and i want to put a VS bonnet on it with the bonnet scoop thingy, now i've seen it done on a VG ute but i was wondering if anyone knows if the VS bonnet will fit straight onto my ute without any alterations....?

    thanks for ya help

It won't. Completely different bonnet line.

I reckon the VS bonnet looks haggard as anyway. Go the standard VP bonnet with the GTS grille, like mine. Looks tuff as.

The VS bonnet wont fit on it own, but you can put a complete vs front on with out any modifications. Straight bolt on, you will need a VS bonnet, guards, headlights, indicators, bumper & reinforcement, and bonnet hinges. Hope this helps.

You can pick all these parts up from the wreckers pretty cheap and then its just a matter of painting it the right colour. Good idea on a ute because the rest of the body is the same from VG-VS but IMO not a good idea on a VN-VP sedan because the VS front does not suit the VN-VP rear end! If i had a VG-VP ute and was going to put another front on it, it would be VQ stato caprice!

thanks for ya help guys. Just quick question about replacing the whole front end. It sounds hard and i'm not that farmiliar with pannel beating, but say i bough all the vs front and took off the vp gaurds do the vs gaurds and bonnet just fit straight on or do i have to get new supports and stuff???

Yes if you take off your VP guards and bonnet, the VS panels will bolt straight back on.
