    Default painted window moulds

    last week i started painting my window moulds
    this week i finished it off, and did the mirrors

    looks so much better than the vn grey ones

    You got a picture side on from before and after??

    Maybe you should colour code the door handles too?

    Default Painted trims

    Looks bloody good! If U R going to colour code your door handles you will have to get the metal door handles from a VR/VS as the ones on VN/VP had a lot of plastic and the paint will only stick for a short time before flaking off.

    yep, mirror covers are plastic on the vn's to use the right plastic primer and you should be right???

    Mirrors are less likely get scratched by jangling key chains and long girly f/nails. But then your less likely to scratch the door handle if you hit the rubbish bin on a Sat. nite.

    lol yeah...Is there any way you can paint something chrome? Without actually having it taken somewhere to be chromed...?

    here are the b4 and after pics

    stupid camera made the lower part of the window moulds look darker in this pic but in real life looks the same as the rest.

    and word of warning
    this was so much harder to do than i first thought and took ages to mask for over spray. Took hours to mask both sides properly

    i wanted to do the handles but ranout of paint

    will get some handles from a VS and spray them because they are metal and the VN has crappy plastic ones

    theres VHT chrome spray at autobarn.. i havnt bout it cause its 16$ and id only b using a bit but i wanted it to do the interior door handles and to re-do the stripes on my tailights.. i think it may peel east though i really dont no.. most VHT stuff is good
