new to this site hello everyone, Ok my problem is the fuel fuse keeps blowing sometimes when I have had the car running and then other times as soon as the key is turned on. 1/ have replaced the internal fuel pump.
2/ Replaced fuse and relay. 3/ _HELP_____ still blowing fuses,![]()
Just a foot note I live 80klms from town.
sorry the car is an 1990 vn exec auto sedan
the power wire to the fuel pump probably has a cut in it. i dont know where it runs but if you put it on ramps and follow the wires from the pump back to the relay you will find the problem.
Yep. what he said ^^^^.
Yours Kindly,
Jim
the wire runs down the side of the car (inside under the feet step) its a purple wire, not sure which side but take it to an auto electy and they cause use a multimeter and test if the wire has a break in it, and should be able to tell you what the prob is
