Default vp - vs diff centre

hey im just wondering if the centre out of a vs diff will fit in a vp wagon housing. I no the axcels are diffrent from vn-vs but are the centres the same. Reason being i have a spool and my car might have to go in for an insurance job soon. (have word that my x is planing on doing something to it but have nowhere else to put it).
