    Default Woo Hoo

    Finished doing 5 speed conversion and engine change today. Turned key couldnt hear fuel pump but cranked motor anyway, started straight away.
    Only real problems i had were lining up the engine mounts, and i couldnt find the alternater wireing. The wires were run different in the two cars. I looked in the eng bay for 25 mins last nite got the shits when i couldnt find it so i cracked a stubby. Looked for the wires again today and eventually found them still bolted to the original motor.

    Sweet man, was just the same engine or a different one...different i'm assuming as you had to line new engine mounts...cool anyway.
    Need some parts for my VH 253:
    Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
    Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.
