VP LPG Problems

I have a VP manual on dual fuel. It runs fine on petrol, but recently it is playing up on gas. If I start the car on gas and try do drive off, the car really lacks power and will not rev out properly, infact if you depress the accelarator in neutral, the engine dies, then slowly revs up, but not very much. When driving the accelaration is very poor, and the engine just doesnt sound right. Now this is the strange part. While driving, if you flick the Fuel Selector Switch to OFF (ie neither Petrol or Gas) for a few seconds, the car gets a MASSIVE boost of power and runs normal as it used to. If you dont keep the revs up it will happen again, and you have to repeat the procedure. It usually happens when first starting the car and driving, and usually dissapears after about 10-15 minutes of driving. I have no error codes. It is like the fuel mixture is wrong or something. I am running a POD filter, but I havn't had any proplems before. I dont know what has caused this, it's just kinda happened all of a sudden.Any help would be great!

the exact same thing happened with my EA falcon. your not alone, however i never got around to finding out the problem.

Oh ok, well im not the only one then. When I get time, I am gonna take it in and ask someone about it, cos its really anoying, as you would know, haha.

I had a very similar problem in my VN just go and get your gas serviced cost me $20 but that was at my dads mates workshop should'nt cost you to much though should be alright once you get your gas serviced.
