Stupid VN horn sound

Why oh bloody why did holden put a silly suzuki horn on the VN Commo???? I don't know about you other VN guys, but I gotta put a real horn on my VN, something that tells other drivers that 1.5 tonnes of metal is comin through, get out of my f**in way, or I'll plow straight thru you! Anyone put a better horn on from a VR/VS or whatever? They don't sound too bad I reckon

No, i have a crappy vn horn also..... however, $20 at sports'co saw me with a portable air horn.... get the job done, easy to hide....

I must have an aftermarket one on the wagon as it's bloody loud, mind you I've been driving Pulsars, etc for a while so may have gotten used to the 'meep meep' horns...

I put air horns on mine, i still have another pair to go on eventually too, they are damn loud. Supercheap auto and autobarn would carry them, might be illegal though, i know they are here in SA. I also carry a pair of airhorns and a megaphone, makes for good fun

I'm pretty sure that air horns are illegal, but if you were to run them through a switch to select between your normal horn (for when cops are around), and the air horn, for when someone is really pissing you off, it would be all good.

Tell ya what, a WL statesman has a sick horn.. Loud, but reasonably deep.. An exact "get the f**k outta my way" horn.. Dunno wether its the same for other models or just the statesman or wether the statesman has two horns like earlier model luxury cars etc. might be worth lookin into.

I did have air horns for a while, i reckon they sound too happy though.. lol, you here it, and laugh..
