Default Snapped a bolt putting boot lid on

Man don't laugh, but I snapped a bolt putting a new boot lid on. The bolt snapped clean in half, so half the bolt is still in the lid. Wtf do I do now? Damn I was so stupid!

if you cant grab it with vise grips and snapped flush you may have to carefully drill the center of the stud and use an easy out(tool) to remove it.
If drilling use a center punch in the middle so it doesnt jump to the side, use a small drill bit first and work sizes up, Oh and make sure its straight.
    good luck.
