Did you get the right key cut? On mine I've got a key that only does the doors and a key that does everything.

1 key should open all unless car has had lock or ignition barrels changed due to theft, you can have the locks calibrated to the one key by a locksmith, no idea what they would charge thou.

get yourself some graphite powder from your local hardware ( this is a dry lubricant much better for locks than RP7 or WD40 never use these in locks as they eventually clog up your locks ) ANYWAY put some graphite onto key and work in and out a few times then turn key over and do the same then try turning the key . This should loosen everything up and after a dozen times of starting you should be right. As you said prob. a bit to Sharp for the old lock.

This is of course if the locks havent been changed as mantioned before.

Try all your locks boot and passenger as well just to make sure.
