each spring is designed for a certain model and load rating....so a superlow in a wagon is different to a superlow in a sedan

Wont the springs fall out with normal shocks because there lower? Or do they sit in there fine?

    i got supers all round
but at the back its too high and front is perfect
so my advice would be supers at the front and ultras at the rear

they will sit in there ok while the cars on the ground, but you will kill the shocker quicker as it will bottom out on itself, and when the reas is jacked up, the springs can fall out easier and getting airborne while driving, has the opportunity to fall out. some people have experienced springs dislodging from their seat in hard cornering, etc.

put some new short shocks in and revive a bit of your 15yr old suspension, and if you have newish stock height shocks already, sell them and get some money back.

i can give easy info, if ur car his irs superlows will put it on its guts, if it doesnt there ultra lows will leave it round 10mm higher than legal

I'm getting 35mm kings done soon, Does anyone know if it will actually drop it 35mm?. Looking @ Beefcreams Car that is the height I'm after, Perfect look I'm after, But admitting i dont want to hit speed humps bad or bottom out like it first did when I got it, That was so illegal I'm amazed it drove off the ground, If i had a pick of my car when i bought it everyone here would say what i did what a dick head did that. Couldn't get my foot under the side of the car.

best setup i reakon is like mine.. u dont want ultras in the front cause they'll drop it too much. supers dropped mine tones and now looks tuff. ultras for the back cause the wheel is just under the arch and sits nice. supers leave the back to heigh for my liking

How come the ultra's don't make the rear look lower then the front?.

It seems when you buy these springs and they say 35mm 55mm 80mm you really only get half of that.

I want to lower mine about 45mm, Was thinking of 35mm kings but if it only lowers it say 15-20mm it will look bad, So i'm thinking superlows might do the trick, But i dont mind the rear up a touch more i have some big arse's in the rear going to the footy, My car tips 1330kg from factory, Ad 20+kg for the tow bar that is built into the car the sub box that must weigh 25kg easy, Then Ad the weight of the 5 in the car to the footy 416kg Thats 1796kg I'm a little scared about going over low. Get them short shocks done and hope the springs are stiff enough for the big buts

this is like the 40th thread on springs please just search the forums , pm me if you want a pic of mine on superlows fronts and ultras rears with shortened gas shocks all round and a ajustable panhard rod... really the pics speak for themself, i also have pics of supers all round...

and your stupid if you dont fit shorter shocks in the rear, go jack the rear of the car up with normal shocks and ultra's in it and see how easy u can remove the springs :P or aleast knock them outta place... only takes 1 to fall out of place to end you up in a tree

If ya get the springs put on professionally you just have to ask them to make your car sit exactly where you want it. Thats what I did. It took 3 sets of springs to make the rear sit at the right height, for some reason the first set actually sat 15mm lower than they were meant to?

note: the super lows in the pic to the left are 6 months old, hence have dropped about 1" due to being settled in, the one on the right was taken the day i fitted the ultra lows... Note, rear end still dropping
