Default non airbag VR steering wheel on VN?

Anyone tried this? How hard is it, and does the auto off feature still work for the blinkers?

THEY DO NOT BOLT STRAIGHT UP!!
Have any of you tried?? They may go on with some minor modification, but are not a straight bolt on thats for sure.

Looks much more reasonable. I'm having issues with my VP wheel at the moment too. I just can't stand to look at it. I'll see if I can fish out a VR wheel from the wreckers. Does anybody have any information on how exactly the conversion can be ****ed up before I spend the money? Airstrike? Any particular wheel to avoid?

The original was too big. Another common problem was the horn pad falling off sometimes, very annoying! I have the original VN wheel still, I don't think it looks too bad, but I did'nt like what the did in the Statesman, they just used the executive wheel with a different horn pad with a big lump of (fake?) wood on it. In my opinion it looks worse than the executive version. Hope at least the horn pad on the VQ didnt fall off, but I have my doubts

I did have a solution for the horn pad falling off though. I stuffed U-Tac into the holes the horn pad attaches to, seems more firm now. U-Tac is similar to Blu-Tac but better. Oh yeah, and don't use too much, just a little does the trick!
Ah, nothing like a Datsun 120 WHY!
