Default New injectors vs reconditioned vs cleaned

Is there really much advantage in buying new injectors? What's reconditioned injectors, old ones cleaned up? Is there really any disadvantage to just cleaning the existing ones and bunging some new O rings on them?

I've been toying with that idea too, putting injectors from a newer model in. Might have to look into it.

Any ideas on where I could source V6 injectors from in Melbourne without a hefty price tag?

with anything secondhand u run the risk of them being worse than the ones u have, but saying that with all the v6's i have owned i have neva had an injector fail or needing cleaning, i just replace them every 80,000

    woops ended post early

i just replace with new injectors as with cleaning wont fix if the injector is leaking or not flowing properly and if ur fuel system is dirty enough to block injectors, then just cleaning them wont solve ur problems, id recomend the full fuel system clean and its only $200 at most places
