I dont know how true it is but i got told that i could use the diff centre out of my 87 nissan skyline siloquette and put it in my VN is this possible ?.If so i would'nt mind doing it as the siloqette is just sitting there and i would hate to sell with the lsd diff centre if i could use it on my VN.
Well what kind of diff does the 87 Skyline have? I wouldnt think so though...Whoever told you might just be associating it with a VL Diff because the skyline has the same engine as the VL obviously....but the diff wouldn be different i would think.
actually didnt the VL use the entire nissan skyline drive train? i would of thought that the diff would bolt straight in......hmmm if its a LSD its going to be 3.45 gears.....yummy.....sure you dont want to sell it?

any BW78 diff is similar. some use 25 spline and some 28. vn's are 28, so are vl turbo. i think skylines and normal vl's are 25 spline. so you can use the gears off the 25 spline just not the centre
Skylines are borgwerner diffs so if it will fit i might use it but i might just sell the nissan and use the money to finnish off my zorst system and go LSD in the future. So if i do decide to sell it is anyone interested in a cheap skyline siloquette.runs well has hi flow exstractors that are'nt that old.
