    Question anyone with crs kit?

    hi,
anyone with a crs kit please be a true champion a measure the dimensions for this bracket:
click this link than click on my picture and go to the pic with the charger bracket. if someone could please fill in the missing dimentios it would be great.

If someone could please go outside and lift there hood and measure the triangle bracket coming off the bottom of the blower and the head/ block it would help me a great amount.
    thanks alot.
I think this bracket would be the ideal bracket to start with, for those wishing to install a crs kit but cant afford there over excessive price.

    Thanks again

mate i will gladly help you with this one
note: colours are for speco tacho only, i think they might change on different brands.
    White or lights goes to:
ciggerete lighter light just because its much easier or
brown wire with white strip 1 of many (test light needed)
behind fuse cover in loom running up behind dash.

    black or earth:
hook up to any bit of metal connected to the chassis
the metal bracket holding the fuses will do just fine.

Acc+ or power: red i think?
    FUSE AND FUSE HOLDER NEEDED:
goes to Accesories or "unnecessarys" lol.
use a test light to find the wire with power off the ignition barrel
When the car is in ignition position:
Carefull 1 only has power on 1 click i think, so go to 2 clicks when dash lights come on.

    Tacho signal: green?
Goes to above fuses main wiring loom going up to dash.
Unwrap and find the brown wire with red strip, be shore not to disconnect it but just join your wire on because your tacho dash might stop working or it might go back to the ecu? im not shore.

Hope that helps ya mate. D.I.Ys always feel better

ive got half way threw making my mock up crs kit.
ive made most of the brackets roughly the same as crs except for the outlet to alternater bracket one.
its ALOT easier when you have a spare motor in the garage.
Once ive got it mounted strongly to that i can get piping done and an idler and chuck it on and boost.
but i wouldnt mind talking with someone who has done it.

Good job doing it yourself, I'll be interested to see how it comes out, and how much it costs compared to the kit.

    Default damn it

Had it mounted pretty sweet on my spare motor.
Only problem is the inner guards.
Need to shorten the length so it fits in the engine bay. lol
Hopefully it will be mounted to my spare motor next week.

My dodgy speedo said i was doing 65 but it was "allegedly" 74
    Its dodgy as.
